Happy 2023, Everyone!
In celebration of the New Year, I wanted to take a moment to let you all know about a new feature coming to the website:
In addition to the continuance of my bi-monthly articles related to media, Triple Zero Films will now be releasing video essays on alternating months! (Yes, if you can believe it, a filmmaker will be releasing video content – who’d have thought?! lol)
Here’s an example of how this new release schedule will look in practice:
- January: Video Essay
- February: Written Article
- March: Video Essay
- April: Written Article
- Etc.
These video essays will be adapted from the existing catalogue of articles, starting with the earliest and working their way forward in time. While this inevitably means that a few small references might be outdated, the large majority of information and ideas conveyed therein are timeless and still wholly represent my thoughts and opinions on the subject(s) at hand.
These videos will be released to my YouTube channel every other month, in addition to being posted here on the website. It’s my hope that these video essays will not only be able to reach a larger audience than the written articles, but will also serve to add a vibrancy and life to all the topics discussed.
Another benefit of such video essays will be to allow you to get a better sense of who I am – quite literally hearing my words in my own voice. This is certainly a change for me, as I’ve always been more accustomed to speaking through my work rather than directly – something more common than ever in the current social media landscape.
Nevertheless, I’m super excited to be putting these out! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to record them and hope that you and countless others might find equal enjoyment in exploring these topics with me – many of which are very near and dear to my heart. Media is a big part of my life and being able to discuss it in detail with others is one of the most entertaining and rewarding activities I can imagine.
